Synopsis by Steve Blackburn

Hosted by actor Daniel Roebuck (U.S. Marshals) and Austin-based makeup effects specialist Bob Burns (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Howling), this Entertainment Tonight program takes viewers around the country to see various American Halloween traditions, such as haunted houses and hay rides. The video shows how horror movie effects are accomplished, and interviews various horror actors. Highlights include rare still photos and appearances by Boris Karloff's daughter Sarah; Robert Englund (Freddie Krueger of Nightmare on Elm Street); Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead, From Dusk 'Til Dawn); and Angus Scrimm (Deadfall).
