Heero and Trowa have arrived at Barclay base in Antarctica, where Zechs awaits them along with Heero's Gundam, which he has painstakingly restored. Heero isn't interested in thanking Zechs or understanding his motives; he only knows that he intends to kill him in their planned duel. At the Lake Victoria base, Relena is meeting resistance to her request to see Zechs or Noin, until she receives word that the two are in Antarctica. Noin receives word that Relena is on her way, and realizes that their secret isn't so secret anymore. More people will be hunting them as they try to prove their loyalty to Romefeller. The next morning, the battle is on: Zechs pilots the Tallgeese, still damaged after the Siberia battle. Heero takes Trowa's Gundam into battle, wary of Zechs's restoration of his Gundam. As the two pilots batter away at each other, Relena arrives to try and stop them, only to learn from Lieutenant Noin that Zechs is in fact her brother.
