Zechs wakes up on a barge in the middle of the ocean, picked up by the same old man who helped Duo maintain his Gundam. He reveals that he is no ordinary barge captain, but one of the men who helped design the Tallgeese 20 years earlier, and saw no problem in helping the famous Zechs Marquise who has broken away from OZ. In space, OZ has cemented its friendly relationship with the colonies, with Lady Une as OZ's attractive new face. When Treize alerts Lady Une to an approaching mobile suit transport from Singapore, she correctly deduces that one of the Gundams must be on board. Just as the OZ mobile suits approach, Duo bursts forth in his Deathscythe Gundam, easily dispatching the OZ suits -- but he's completely unprepared for the arrival of the computerized mobile dolls. Outnumbered and outgunned, he is easily captured and arrested. On a nearby colony, Heero discovers that OZ has deleted any reference to his namesake just as he gets word of Duo's capture, and carefully considers his next move.
