Earth's forces have surrendered on the heels of Treize Khushrenada's death, but Zechs Marquise is going ahead with his plan to ram the Libra and Peacemillion battle fortresses into the Earth. As Libra begins its approach, Zechs calmly sits in the Gundam Epyon, awaiting the arrival of the one person who might be able to stop him: Heero, piloting the Gundam Wing Zero. Heero doesn't disappoint him, and in moments, the two are locked in their fiercest battle yet, each pilot expecting both victory and death. As Noin helplessly watches the pair's duel, Duo delivers the five Gundam engineers to the Libra, in the hopes of stopping its lethal descent. Meanwhile, Sally, Howard, and Relena have joined Lady Une at the Earth forces' command center on MO-2 to observe Libra's progress and try to figure out a way to stop the calamity -- but ultimately, Earth's fate rests on the outcome of the battle between the two Gundam pilots.
