The charismatic Treize Khushrenada prepares to lead his troops into battle against White Fang and the Libra battle fortress, but there is some grumbling among the officers; some aren't so sure about their odds against their massive opponent. Elsewhere, Heero has gone ahead with a plan to infiltrate Libra and bring Relena back to the Peacemillion with him. When he makes his daring entry, Milliardo is calm; he has been expecting this to happen, although not quite so soon. When Heero and Relena find Milliardo waiting for them in a secluded area, they try to talk him into stopping the upcoming battle. As they talk, Milliardo's motives become clear: By forcing everyone into a near-apocalyptic battle, he intends to make mankind understand just how horrible war is. To Relena's surprise, Heero agrees. The three part ways, and Milliardo prepares his forces to confront Treize's men -- led by Treize himself on the front line, piloting the reconstructed Tallgeese.
