The Romefeller Foundation's mobile dolls are positioned on the outskirts of the Sanc Kingdom, waiting for the right time to attack. Princess Relena Peacecraft, believing in her father's pacifistic ideals, decides to meet with Romefeller's Duke Dermail rather than prepare for war. In the desert, Quatre has managed to find his Maguanac Corps comrades -- deeply involved in combat against Romefeller's mobile dolls. Quatre is reunited with Sandrock, his Gundam, and after making short work of the invading forces he prepares to take the Gundam back with him to the Sanc Kingdom. Meanwhile, Duo is relaxing on a colony with Hilde Schbeiker after a frustrating attempt to hook up with a rebel group. The two visit the circus, and Duo is stunned to see that the performing clown is none other than Trowa, missing since his near-fatal battle with Quatre. He's even more surprised to discover that Trowa is suffering from amnesia.
