Synopsis
"Growing Up Global" follows children as they live with problems that were addressed at the UN's 1992 "Earth Summit" in Brazil. Filmmaker Bruno Sorrentino has been visiting these children (who are now 10) periodically since 1992. They live in South Africa, Kenya, Brazil, Latvia, the U.K., the U.S., India and China. Following the film, host Jamie Rubin interviews UNICEF executive director Carol Bellamy.
