Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Based on the mystery novel by Jennifer Rowe, the Australian miniseries Grim Pickings opened with a horrible discovery made during an annual apple harvest. When a corpse was found amongst the orchards, it ended up unearthing innumerable skeletons in the cupboard of a wealthy and extremely secretive family. Longtime Australian TV favorite Lorraine Bayly headed the cast as Betsy Tender. The two two-hour episodes of Grim Pickings aired over the 9 Network on November 15 and 16, 1989.
