Season three of the surrealistic sitcom Green Acres commences as Oliver Douglas (Eddie Albert), city slicker turned gentleman farmer, is among the nominees for the office of state senator. This honor, of course, requires a thorough investigation of Oliver's past. Thus the stage is set for a steady progression of "flashbacks," consisting of highlights from Green Acres' first two seasons, with a bit of brand new footage tossed in.
