Wolfe Barzell, a character actor who essayed a variety of "ethnic" roles in the '60s, is here cast as one of Lisa's countrymen, Lazlo Broslav. It seems that, long ago, Lazlo saved the life of Lisa's uncle. Now he has arrived at the Douglas farm, demanding repayment for his act of largess. Oliver (Eddie Albert) is all for tossing Lazlo out on his ear, but Lisa (Eva Gabor) warns Oliver that something really bad will happen if they don't extend a hospitable hand.
