Green Acres : Old Mail Day (1968)

Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The Hooterville postal service is not exactly one involving "swiftly appointed rounds." In fact, the community has inaugurated an "old mail day," in which storekeeper Sam Drucker (Frank Cady) cleans out his store, locates any old undelivered mail that happens to be lying around, and ships it out several months (or years) after the fact. In his usual high dudgeon, Oliver (Eddie Albert) demands that Hooterville set up a more efficient method of mail delivery -- only to be labeled as a "radical" by the nonplussed populace.
