Oliver (Eddie Albert) is anxious to get an accurate weather forecast so that he will know the proper time to plant his tomato crop. Unfortunately, the only local sources are a singing radio weatherman and a TV weather show featuring a Swiss clock containing a life-sized figurine (actually a little old lady) -- and the forecasts from both sources are woefully inaccurate. The result: Oliver spends the night nursing a passel of sick tomatoes, and Eb (Tom Lester) dons a bathing suit during an Arctic cold snap.
