Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Purchasing 1,000 baby chicks, Oliver (Eddie Albert) sets about to diversify his produce by becoming a chicken rancher. The plethora of poultry is problematic enough for Oliver and Lisa (Eva Gabor), but the fun has just begun. In the course of events, Lisa insists upon being surrogate mother to each and every chick, Mr. Haney (Pat Buttram) attempts to unload an "egg-laying" machine, and the Monroes (Mary Grace Canfield, Sid Melton) demonstrate that they know as much about building a coop as they do about building the Douglases' still-unfinished bedroom.
