Oliver (Eddie Albert) and Lisa (Eva Gabor) awaken one morning to discover that Eb (Tom Lester), their farmhand and self-appointed "adopted son," has eloped and left for parts unknown. Thus is Oliver forced to hire a new hand -- namely, Eb's cousin Walter (Guy Raymond), a former bartender. Not surprisingly, Walter is better at mixing drinks than doing chores, and before long he has stirred up plenty of trouble (and not with a swizzle stick).
