Synopsis by Janiss Garza

District attorney Charles W. Wright (Wilfred Lucas) has declared war on drug traffickers and his son, Charles Jr., an aspiring writer (Robert Gordon), decides to write a story about it. Against the advice of his sister Velma, who is also an attorney (Ann Little), he visits the haunts and dives where drug addicts can be found. The drug ring wants to gain control over the D.A. and they see their opportunity through his son. Charles Jr. befriends a dope addict who, as she is dying, sends him out on a run; when he returns, she is dead and he is arrested, under an assumed name, for murder. Velma seeks out the accused killer and discovers it is her brother, who has been missing for months. She works to get him freed while her father, who has no idea the accused is his son, is doing everything to oppose her. He doesn't discover Charles Jr.'s identity until the case goes to jury, but Velma breaks the dope ring wide open, and her brother is cleared of the charge.
