Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Rupert Danza (Harold Lockwood) is studying at an American college, and does not particularly want to return to Rugaria when he is called overseas. But then he discovers that Althea Hanway (Ruby DeRemer) is being taken there by her mother (Clare Grenville) in order to marry Prince Boris (Joseph Granby), and he decides to go. The people of Rugaria urge him to lead a revolution, but his presence is discovered by Prince Boris. Danza escapes capture by the Rugarian government several times and he attempts to rescue Althea, who is not interested in marrying the Prince. The final time Danza is captured, he is put before a firing squad and barely escapes with his life. Eventually he is able to save Althea and overcome the Prince. Silent film star Harold Lockwood was a high-profile victim of the influenza epidemic of 1918.
