Guiseppe Verdi's four act opera arrives on home video in this performance captured live at St Petersburg's Mariinski Theater. Featuring dancers Grigory Karasev, Galina Gorchakova and Nicolai Putilin in the leads and Valery Gergiev conducting The Kirov Chorus and Orchestra, this faithful reconstruction of the original 1862 performance also features vivid recreation of the original painted scenery.
