Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Writer-director Sang-soo Hong’s psychological drama is his sixth collaboration with actress Kim Min-hee. She plays Areum, a writer who stations herself within a coffee shop in the vicinity of Seoul. Using her keen observational skills and her trusty laptop, Areum assiduously mines the conversations of those around her for literary inspiration.
