Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
This biography presents the story of Grace Kelly, whose cool beauty led her first to Hollywood and then into the royal family of Monaco. Kelly was a favorite of director Alfred Hitchcock, starring in several of his films, as well as such classics as Mogambo and High Noon. But Kelly left her adoring fans behind to marry Prince Ranier of Monaco, thus becoming Princess Grace. She wore that title well, until her untimely death in a car accident in 1982. Archival film footage shows the film star at the height of her acting career. News footage follows her romance and marriage. Interviews with family, friends, and colleagues paint an often not happy picture of her life as royalty.
