Synopsis by Andrea LeVasseur

Gorillaz: Phase One -- Celebrity Take Down is a two-disc set of animated cartoons and a ton of special features all done up to promote the high-concept band Gorillaz. The disc is set up like a virtual tour of Kong Studios, housing bandmates 2D, Murdoc, Noodle, and Russel. All the various offerings are accessed by going into the different rooms and editing your own version of the disc with the multi-angle function and storyboard comparison options. The DVD includes promotional videos for "Tomorrow Comes Today," "Clint Eastwood," "19/200," "Rock the House," and "5/4." Also contains several performances, galleries, interviews, Easter eggs, and a lot more. Featurettes include a half-hour documentary entitled "Charts of Darkness," that originally aired on Channel Four in the U.K., and a 12-minute "Tour of the Website." The second disc is a CD-ROM with games, wallpapers, screen savers, and several other extras taken from the Internet.
