A Good Job for a Woman is a six-part series created to introduce a wide variety of career choices, and the scores of options within each field. It's especially designed to encourage and motivate young people to consider careers in the math and science fields. Each program profiles women on-the-job to provide a realistic look at the workplace experience. The women also discuss their personal lives and career choices. A Good Job for a Woman: Agriculture examines modern jobs for women in a field where women have historically played an important role. Viewers meet a hog farmer, cranberry farmer, veterinarian/ostrich breeder, agronomist, and economist.
