Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith

Golf analyst Steve Melnyk narrates as viewers are shown footage of some of the finest shots ever made in the game of golf. There are clips of Jack Nicklaus playing in the final round of the 1972 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and Arnold Palmer making his magnificent 346-yard drive during the 1960 U.S. Open at Cherry Hills. Cameras also captured Curtis Strange putting his way to victory in the 1988 U.S. Open. True fans are likely to recall Jerry Pate's handling of his five-iron at the 1976 U.S. Open and the winning holes made by Larry Mize, Bob Tway, and Mickey Wright.
