The last in a series of 11 films which began with Gokudo (1968), this lackluster outing from director Sadao Nakajima pits Osaka gangster Shimimura (Tomisaburo Wakayama) against the villainous Mamushi Brothers led by Bunta Sugawara. The series was clearly at an end, and even the generally enthusiastic Wakayama -- star of the popular "Baby Cart" series -- seemed to have better things to do with his time than pay much attention.
