Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
After hearing that he has an incurable cancer, Krzysztof feels a generosity and unselfishness which was previously impossible to him. He hands over his job to a deputy, releases his wife to marry another man she is interested in, and helps out a homely widow who came to him for help years before. Then he discovers that the cancer he had is benign, and must start life all over again.
