Adolphe Adam's two-act ballet is captured live at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan during an April, 2005 performance featuring Svetlana Zakharova in the title role. David Coleman conducts the Corpo di Ballo del Teatro alla Scala and the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala in a Roberto Bolle, Vittorio D'Amato, and Marta Romagna co-star, and Yvette Chauviré choreographs.
