Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Young Belinda (Gladys Leslie) is on the brink of womanhood when her world is turned upside down. Sandford, a burglar (Maurice Costello), breaks into the home where she lives and is caught. The man blurts out his story -- years ago, through circumstantial evidence, he was convicted of a murder he didn't commit. The judge (Priestley Morrison) -- who Belinda always assumed to be her father -- sent Sanford to prison. Sandford is really Belinda's father and until he broke into their home, he didn't know that the judge had raised the girl as his own. Belinda believes her real father is innocent and goes out to prove it. Once she uncovers the guilty party and frees her father, she is able to return her attention to her sweetheart, Bob (William E. Lawrence).
