Travers is a well-known and well-liked stage actor and his wife (Katherine Kaelred) is jealous of all the attention he gets, especially from other women. A friend who has secretly lusted for the wife fuels her suspicions, and when she spies Travers visiting a woman and child, her imagination runs wild. She proceeds to flirt with the friend, who winds up in a fight with Travers in his dressing room. The girl who the wife assumes is Travers' mistress enters the room and is wounded by a gun shot. It turns out that she is Travers' sister, and when husband and wife separate, it is she who finally encourages them to reunite. This film was based on a play by Clyde Fitch.
