Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This week, the castaways are on a lucky streak: Gilligan (Bob Denver) and Mr. Howell (Jim Backus) have unearthed a gold mine, while Ginger (Tina Louise) and Mary Ann (Dawn Wells) have stumbled upon a life raft. Unfortunately, the gold deposit takes center stage, as all of the castaways except Gilligan are consumed by greed. As a result of this "gold fever", the seven castaways blow yet another chance to get off the island!
