A fast-talking preacher with a gift for grift finds his shady past casting a dark shadow over his once-bright future in this musical drama from directors James Tucker and Sid Burston. Pastor Ruford Royal prays to only one man -- himself. Though his crafty way with words has always served well to help get him out of trouble, the lies are piling up, and keeping track of his numerous scams has become virtually impossible. With a pregnant mistress and a gossiping chorus on one side and a vengeful loan shark closing in from the other, Pastor Royal must choose his fate or risk letting a bullet decide for him.
