Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This Canadian variety series was built around the talents of singer Gerry Paquin and pianist-composer Gerard "Ziz" Jean. The star duo offered a healthy supply of bilingual songs and comedy, with the assistance of regulars Jay Brazeau and David Gillies. Originating as a segment on the Winnipeg version of the CBC's Canadian Express, Gerry and Ziz graduated to full-series status through the auspices of the network's Montréal facilities. In this new half-hour incarnation, Gerry and Ziz ran from July 8 to September 2, 1979.
