In a terrifying distant future when hideous monsters roam the Earth, the ruler of the Mah tribe, a tyrant named Genma, has set his sights on finding an heir. Genma is convinced that if he fathers a son with a Hilo woman, the child will be gifted with great powers. He finds such a mother for his plan, a woman named Non, and she agrees to aid Genma in exchange for the safety of her village, but when the time comes for her to give birth, there is an unexpected twist: she has twins. Her two sons, Loof and Jin, are separated immediately, and while Jin remains among the Hilo, Loof is taken by Genma and raised as the future leader of the Mah. Now almost adults, these two young men have been training all their lives to eliminate one other -- but with the metaphysical and genetic ties that bind them, can one brother kill the other without destroying himself?
