Broadcast locally on Toronto's CBLT-TV from 1963 to 1966, the Canadian discussion/documentary series Generation focused on communication (or lack of same) between the old and the young. Beginning on August 4, 1965, the series was picked up for national network play by the CBC. Most of the subsequent episodes continued in the series' earlier discussion-debate vein, albeit with new emphasis on filmed documentaries from contributing producers throughout the Dominion. The final network episode of Generation was seen on September 15, 1965.
