Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter

This two-volume documentary is the companion to the Pre-GED Language Arts, Reading program. This time, the student learns to apply the lessons that were addressed in the introductory set in preparation for taking the GED examination. The format simulates the actual format and content of the GED exam. The student is faced with the challenges of reading and comprehending a variety of materials, including poetry, essays, stories, plays, and business letters. The program uses its time-tested three-point process for getting to the heart of the printed word, and successfully articulating that understanding to others.
