Synopsis by Cavett Binion

This cheap, lurid exercise is a belated in-name-only sequel to the 1976 drive-in exploitation quickie Gator Bait that makes the original seem inspired by comparison. This time out, Jan MacKenzie plays a sweet city girl initiated into the rugged ways of the Louisiana swamp by her good-natured Cajun husband "Big T" (Tray Loren). She ends up putting her newly acquired survival skills to good use when she is kidnapped by Big T's chief rival Leroy (Paul Muzzcat) and his swarthy, brutish family as part of an ongoing feud. Here the movie shifts gears into I Spit on Your Grave rape-and-revenge territory, albeit with a bayou flair. Technically inferior to its predecessor, this direct-to-video item also lacks the original's gritty, steamy swampland ambience and the sultry screen presence of the first film's star, Claudia Jennings.
