Synopsis by Emru Townsend

While meeting with the multinational forces' commanding officers (one of whom is another Gowa, this time a cousin), Lieutenant Colonel Hayakawa learns that the Experimentation Company and its TAs are to be deployed to secure Shrine Hill, the site where Belgistan allegedly tested its weapons of mass destruction. The operation gets underway, and the SSDF forces easily gain control of what turns out to be the remains of an experimental facility similar to where Yushiro did his dance. As they investigate, Kazuharu Gowa arrives to oversee, and an angry Hayakawa demands to know what's going on. Hayakawa never gets to respond to his calm deflection, as Yushiro suddenly leaps from his cockpit and starts to perform the Gasara dance, right in the middle of Shrine Hill's impact crater. But as he reaches the dance's crescendo, he is interrupted by the appearance of enemy forces -- including their own TAs, one of which is piloted by Miharu. (American release in 2000.)
