Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This picture makes good use of both Bebe Daniels' brunette beauty and her penchant for comedy. Inez Hastings (Daniels) lives in Cuba with her parents (James Gordon and Martha Mattox) and grandmother (Gertrude Norman). Although she is ardently pursued by Jose Maria Lavendera (Hugh Thompson), Inez doesn't care much for him. In fact, she would rather dress up as a boy and sneak into cockfights. One day, on the way home from this pastime, Inez meets Rush Thompson (Pat O'Malley), an American revenuer who is in Cuba on a secret mission to bag some rum runners. It turns out that both Lavendera and Inez's father are in the bootlegging business and Lavendera tries unsuccessfully to trap Thompson. Inez is sent to America with her grandmother and she meets Thompson once again. She accidentally exposes Thompson as a revenue officer, which puts both of them in danger. After a number of adventures, they manage to escape together.
