Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This "Gallagher" concert video was lensed in Texas, so be prepared for plenty of jokes about the largeness of Texan headgear and the purported smallness of the citizens' I.Q.s. The highlight is Gallagher's harangue about gun control, an issue that might have resulted in mass fistfights in the hands of a lesser comic. Perhaps because he comes on stage wielding a gun with a 10-foot barrel, Gallagher has no physical trouble from his hootin' and hollerin' audience. Other topics skewered by Gallagher include Ancient History and current political figures. Like most of the rest of the Gallagher videos, Over Your Head was directed (or refereed) by Joe Hostettler.
