With the development of interstellar travel, humanity has reached a new age. The planet Destiny serves as the center for Galaxy Railways, and it is through this port that all interplanetary travelers must go. There are those, however, who choose to exploit Galaxy Railways' passengers, and in order to combat these pirates, the Space Defense Force patrols the galaxy. Twenty-year-old Yuuki is planning on joining the SDF like his father before him, and so he is drawn to planet Destiny. Meanwhile, Layla, a mysterious woman with a psychic gift, is also drawn toward the place where she can help humanity the most. A convergence of destiny on a planet of the same name is what follows, as humanity realizes the burden of its advancements.
