Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The Japanese Fugitive Alien makes up in vigor what it lacks in technical expertise. The plot follows the tried-and-true course of outer-space fantasies from time immemorial. After much saber-rattling, Earth and the extraterrestrials duke it out with high-tech weaponry. The cause of it all is the title character, who seeks asylum on Earth from a totalitarian space regime. At 103 minutes, Fugitive Alien can't sustain itself to the end, but it's okay for at least half its length.
