Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A twenty-one year old female mental patient breaks out of the institution to embark on a soul-searching journey for inner-peace in director Motohashi Keita's psychological road movie. Admitted to a mental hospital after attempting suicide, young Hana is placed under round the clock observation by the concerned staff. When voice in her head repeatedly states "Twenty yards of linen are worth one coat," Hana takes it as her cue to make a break for freedom. Joining Hana in her escape is depressed fellow patient named Nagoyan, who hails from Nagoya and has a serious inferiority complex about life in Japan. Once on the outside, Hana and Nagoyan gas up Nagoyan's faithful care Luce and take a trip across Kyushu that finally allows the troubled girl to regain her peace of mind.
