Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In order to be reunited with Emily, Ross (David Schwimmer) must promise never to see Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) again. In his efforts to tell her this bad news, Ross is plagued with constant interruptions. Meanwhile, Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) sneak off for a romantic rendezvous in Atlantic City, but things don't go very smoothly. And Joey (Matt LeBlanc) finally figures out what's going on. If the title of this episode seems confusing, it won't be by the end of the program.
