Despite the "initiative" of sexy lingerie, Valentine's Day is messed up for Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) when they watch the graphic videotape of Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) in labor. Mona (Bonnie Somerville) dumps Ross (David Schwimmer) when she finds out he is living with Rachel (Jennifer Aniston). Joey (Matt LeBlanc) makes a startling (but to the audience, not entirely unexpected) revelation. And "the world's happiest dog" does not necessarily spread that happiness to the people who need it most.
