Christina Applegate returns as Amy, terminal tactless sister of new mommy Rachel (Jennifer Aniston). Enlisted as babysitter for little Emma, Amy proves to be the worst possible choice for the job when she gets the infant's ears pierced. Meanwhile, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) pores over a thesaurus while trying to write a persuasive letter to the adoption agency on behalf of Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Monica (Courteney Cox); and Mike's (Paul Rudd) efforts to propose to Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) are spoiled...by Phoebe.
