A desperate mother becomes a drug smuggler in South Florida in order to escape an abusive relationship and provide for her two daughters, but ends up getting in over her head in this drama starring Academy Award winner Anna Paquin. Convinced she will wind up dead if she remains in her current relationship, battered Christina (Paquin) loads up her two daughters, and leaves for Florida. There, at the height of the drug-smuggling heyday, Christina quickly earns a reputation as a reliable drug runner. But the law is on to her. Later, when everything goes awry, Christina realizes that she will only have one chance to set the future straight before she winds up in prison, or worse. Drea de Matteo and Cam Gigandet co-star.
