Niles (David Hyde Pierce) continues to carry a torch for Daphne (Jane Leeves), but has not worked up the nerve to tell her so. The opportunity finally seems to arrive when Daphne needs comfort and solace after breaking up with her latest beau. Inspired by the situation, Niles prepares to pour his heart out to Daphne -- until Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) has strongly advises him not to. The upshot of this situation is quite startling...especially when Niles thinks he is "seeing double."
