Synopsis by Nathan Southern

Though born in Caracas, the Venezuelan pop sensation Franco de Vita came of age in Italy, then returned to his native land as a teenager and studied music formally after high school graduation. He headlined the bands Icaro and Corpus in the early eighties, but debuted as a soloist in 1984. Hit album after hit album followed; the singer's 1986 "Aqui Estas Otra Vez" hit biggest in Latin America; de Vita then proved his versatility via a hit single with Four Seasons frontman Frankie Valli, and songwriting for such celebrities as Ricky Martin. de Vita delivers over twenty electrifying numbers before a packed crowd in the Spanish-language concert film Mil Y Una Historias: En Vivo (Franco de Vita). Selections include: "No Basta," "Ay Dios," "Traigo Una Pena," "Tu De Que Vas," "Calido y Frio," "Esperando el Sol," "Vamos Al Grano (Stop)," and "Louis."
