Synopsis by Hal Erickson
One of Canadian television's first musical variety series, Four for the Show made its CBC bow in 1953. Featured performers included singers Libby Morris, Shirley Harmer, George Murray, and Billy O'Connor, under the tuneful direction of bandleader Bert Niosi. Although Four for the Show didn't last too long, its cast was soon absorbed into the more popular CBC weekly The Big Revue.
