Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A former concentration-camp detainee who, alongside her sister, suffered unthinkable experiments at the hands of the Third Reich's most notorious medical monster attempts to reconcile her past by forgiving the Nazis for their genocidal atrocities in directors Bob Hercules and Cheri Pugh's deeply personal documentary. Spurned on in her mission by the recent death of her sister -- a belated but direct result of the horrors that befell the then-young girl during World War II -- one-time "Mengele twin" and current Indiana-based real-estate broker Eva Kor travels to Germany in hopes of recovering the notorious doctor's medical files. A noted proponent of self-healing through the act of forgiveness, Kor holds an affecting dialogue with a guilt-riddled former SS doctor who served at Auschwitz and now feels the weight of his crimes against humanity growing increasingly unbearable.
