Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In this story of college life, student Dick Morgan (James Morrison) is bitterly disappointed when he doesn't make it on the boat crew. With the urging of a gambler, Rosenberg (Edward Elkas), he tries to sabotage the big race. He damages the oar of his friend, Robert Brent (William B. Davidson), while Rosenberg bets against the team. But even though the oar breaks, the crew still manages to win the race. In spite of the all-too-typical plot, this film offered a fairly accurate portrayal of college days. Part of it was shot at the Columbia campus, which probably gave star Davidson a case of deja vu -- he graduated from there in 1909.
