Synopsis by Sarah Block
This program for two- to six-year-olds is part of Yum Yum Studios' Food Safari nutrition series. Couscous, the tour guide, Chef Beary Good, and his sidekick Sprinkle lead young viewers as they explore how different foods are grown and processed and how food affects their bodies. Factory tours, songs, rhymes, and the hosts' silly antics make learning about nutrition fun. This episode focuses on lunch. Chef Beary Good and Sprinkle lead an adventure through the forest on their way to a picnic, where kids learn how bread, peanut butter, apple juice, and cheese are made. They also see how baby carrots are grown and a factory where they're processed.
